Mechanism of Action | Nitroglycerin tablets are a nitrate. It works by dilating (widening) blood vessels. Chest pain occurs when the heart needs more oxygen than it can get. Dilating blood vessels allows blood to flow more easily. This reduces the heart’s workload and the amount of oxygen needed by the heart. | ||
Usage | Aviclud Tablets is a medication used for heart failure, high blood pressure, and to treat and prevent chest pain from not enough blood flow to the heart or due to cocaine. This includes chest pain from a heart attack. | ||
